St.
Elizabeth Ann Seton Guild
St. Elizabeth's is a
guild that was developed in
1999, for women of the parish age 35 and older.
This guild exists
primarily to promote fellowship, friendship, and personal
and spiritual growth during
a woman's middle age years.
Programs at the
monthly meetings are related to the five developmental
areas: spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical,
and social.
Secondarily, St.
Elizabeth's assists the parish in some of its social,
cultural and individual needs. Among the projects have
been organizing the annual women's retreat for all women of
the parish, Christmas Goodie Baskets to shut-ins and
elderly, hosting and preparing the annual confirmation
dinner, and hosting and preparing an annual parish poverty
meal.
Monthly meetings
are held on the 2nd Monday each month, September through
May, in homes of their members. Socials are sometimes
held during the summer months.
Membership is
open to all women of the parish, age 35 and older who enjoy
fellowship, friendship, and personal and spiritual
growth. New members can join at any time during the
year. More information about joining can be obtained
by contacting the Parish Center Office at 765-7794.
